Growing up in Austria, he was first introduced to the sport by his father back in the days when KTMs were still white and cyan. Figures like the late Mike Healey captured his imagination, not just through racing, but through a lifestyle that felt worlds apart from his own, offering a first glimpse into the international spirit and culture that would later shape his path.

Over the years, Manfred remained more than just an observer. Riding has always been part of his life — from traditional motocross to hard enduro, international rally events, and even time spent on road racing circuits. His curiosity for all forms of motorcycling runs deep. In the early 2010s, he was already exploring the potential of electric motocross, long before it became a trend, a reflection of his open mind and natural interest in innovation and new technology.

In the early 2000s, Razi experimented with an online motocross project, a short‑lived venture, but one that planted the seed for everything that followed. By the 2010s, he was involved in two‑wheel media side projects, fascinated by the stories behind the scenes who make the sport tick.

A stroke of luck later opened the door to the gear industry, where Manfred gained a new perspective. Managing rider support deals, working with teams, and seeing how passion meets business on the retail side of things. That experience eventually led him to found his own advertising agency, focused on clients within the powersports world.

With that came a renewed spark, the idea of creating something that captures the sport’s authenticity from a distinctly European point of view. That idea is now taking shape as the Motopolitan project, blending his love for storytelling, branding, and the culture of racing into one vision.

Razi’s friendship with Michael Rigdon dates back to the legendary Mototalk message board, where a shared sense of humor and dedication to the sport quickly forged a bond. They finally met in person at Anaheim 1 in 2009 and have remained close friends ever since, meeting up around the world to watch racing or swapping stories as house guests. Working together again feels like a natural next chapter — two lifetimes of passion coming together, one story at a time.
